What Is Alpha?

The Talks

Young adults are at a unique time in their lives where they are genuinely open to exploring the meaning of life. They are used to listening to well-presented, intellectual talks and are stimulated and challenged by the content and structure of the Alpha
talks.

Small Groups

During the university years, many young adults yearn for friendship and a sense of belonging. By placing young adults into small groups together they are given the opportunity to make friends and to discuss, ask questions and be listened to. Relationships are formed and trust is built, giving students an open forum to discuss the relevance of Jesus in today’s student culture.

Food

Not many young adults will turn down the offer of food! Aside from this, eating together provides a crucial way of getting to know each other in a relaxed setting.
